Sarah McGowan is a Director, Producer and Writer specialising in scripted comedy, drama and observational documentaries.

Originally from Scotland, she has lived on and off in Canada since 2007, including the wilds of the Yukon bush where she lived in a cabin in the woods with no running water or electricity for a year, learned to fish, worked on a few short films and saw the Aurora Borealis. Twice.

Sarah has a Bachelor of Arts in Media from the University of the West of Scotland and a Diploma in Television Production & Operations from The City of Glasgow College.
